Vietnam Railways incurs heavy losses
Vietnam Railways (VNR) put into operation a new international container link to Europe in 2021 but nonetheless posted losses of over VND2 trillion ($87.6 million) after two years of pandemic. It has determined that freight transport is its main goal, with gradual support given to passenger transport to ensure revenue and efficiency next year.
