Vietnam Airlines and Vietjet Air to launch direct flights connecting Ho Chi Minh City to Colombo (Sri Lanka)
In the first half of 2026, nearly 9,000 visitors from Sri Lanka traveled to Vietnam, while more than 4,500 Vietnamese visited Sri Lanka.
Vietnam-Sri Lanka Business Forum held in Colombo
At the event, a direct flight route between Ho Chi Minh City and Colombo was officially launched by Vietnam Airlines that is expected to commence operations in August 2026.
