National brand growing in value

According to Brand Finance, Vietnam’s national brand value has risen from $388 billion in 2021 to $431 billion in 2022, ranking it 32nd in the world, up one spot compared to 2021. Product branding is a task not just for businesses but also for the country. The branding of agricultural products needs to be associated with geographical indications, thereby creating differentiation and enhancing brand value.

Solutions offered on sending Vietnamese brands out to the world

Vietnam has just eleven brands in the top 1,000 brands in Asia and none on the Global Brand list. The Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) is busy implementing the National Brand Program to expand how Vietnamese brands go out to the world. The overseas Vietnamese community, with nearly 5 million people living in 190 countries and territories, is also considered a bridge in sending Vietnam’s national brands out to the world.
