New regulations issued for debt trading companies
According to Circular No. 05/2022/TT-BTC guiding the restructuring of enterprises that are ineligible for equitization, issued recently by the Ministry of Finance (MoF), Vietnam’s debt trading company is entitled to actively negotiate debt purchases with creditors and propose plans to restructure an enterprise in accordance with the law.
