Thanh Hoa province approves planning for 65-ha industrial cluster

The industrial cluster will give priority to high technology, electronics, telecommunications, and manufacturing.

The People’s Committee of central Thanh Hoa province has approved a detail planning for an industrial cluster in the southwest of Thanh Hoa city.

The projected industrial cluster covers an area of over 65ha in Thanh Hoa city and Quang Xuong district.

The cluster will prioritize a diverse range of industries, including electronics, telecommunications, software, information technology, processing, manufacturing, auxiliary industry for the garment and textile sector, printing, and machinery.

The project will be invested by Kensington Vietnam with an investment capital estimated at around VND468 billion ($17.86 million). Of the total, the investor will contribute 25.21%, and the rest will be mobilized from loans and other legal sources.

The cluster is expected to generate jobs for 2,900 workers.
