The Thanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee has approved planning for the development of the Tien Trang urban area in Quang Xuong district to 2045.

Specializing in tourism, industry, and trade, the urban area will cover over 1,033 ha and have an estimated population of 20,000 by 2030 and 25,000 by 2045.

It will also be an important transportation point, with links to National Highway No. 1, coastal walkways, and East-West routes connecting Quang Xuong district with Sam Son city and Nghi Son commune.

The urban area will also have different development zones, serving administrative, social, culture, and sports activities as well as trade, services, and production.
