Central Thanh Hoa province registered export revenue of over $3.9 billion so far this year, up 20.7% compared to the same period last year, according to the provincial Department of Industry and Trade.
In August, as of August 20, the province exported products worth $565.1 million, a year-on-year surge of 26.8%.
Exports of most of key products increased, including fish powder, up 67.8%; garment and textile, 27.7%, and footwear, 27.2%.
The province set a target of an export turnover of $6 billion for the whole year, soaring 18.6% year-on-year.
To fulfill the target, the provincial Department of Industry and Trade will continue supporting local enterprises to seek, expand and diversify export markets and update information about FTAs.
