During their visit to the United States from January 9 to 11, Vietjet's leaders met with dozens of partners, including SpaceX, a world-leading corporation in spacecraft supply, satellite launch services, and satellite communications.

Currently, Vietjet has strategic agreements with leading corporations such as Boeing, GE, CFM, Pratt & Whitney, and Honeywell, with a total value of nearly $50 billion, the Government News reported.

Additionally, collaborations worth approximately $14 billion are also being discussed. These agreements are directly creating nearly 500,000 jobs for Americans.

Furthermore, Vietjet is collaborating with leading technology corporations like Microsoft, Amazon Web Service, Apple, and Google.

Notably, Vietjet is also negotiating with SpaceX, owned by billionaire Elon Musk, and several providers of in-flight internet technology solutions to serve its fleet of hundreds of aircraft. This will boost the high-tech workforce and usher in a new era of innovation.

Previously, in September 2024, during a meeting with senior Vietnamese leaders in New York, Mr. Tim Hughes, Senior Vice President of SpaceX, praised the potential for the development of satellite internet services in Vietnam and announced plans to invest $1.5 billion in Vietnam in the near future.

SpaceX leaders stated that the Starlink service can provide internet access virtually anywhere on earth.
