Vietnam Airlines and Singapore’s Sentosa Development Corporation (SDC) have officially signed an MoU on cooperation during the 2024-2025 period.
The two will cooperate in developing tourism products and promotional programs to showcase Sentosa Island in Singapore as a leading destination, attracting passengers with Vietnam Airlines to visit and enjoy its entertainment options. Travelers will benefit from attractive offers such as exclusive packages, promotions for Sentosa experiences, and privileges for passengers with boarding passes and Golden Lotus members.
They will also coordinate in promoting Sentosa as a destination and Vietnam Airlines’ products and services. The latter will introduce the former as a premier destination for travelers visiting the “Lion City”, while the SDC will strongly promote the image of Vietnam Airlines among its partners in Singapore. The cooperation is expected to bring superior benefits to tourists and contribute to the development of tourism between Vietnam and Singapore.
“The cooperation will leverage the strengths of Vietnam Airlines and the Sentosa Development Corporation,” said Mr. Dang Anh Tuan, Deputy General Director of Vietnam Airlines. “Through this, we aim not only to provide superior benefits to tourists between Vietnam and Singapore but also to fulfill our role as the national flag carrier, contributing to fostering economic, commercial, and cultural exchanges between the two countries. Signing the MoU is a solid foundation for both sides to move towards even broader cooperation in the future.”
“We are honored to cooperate with Vietnam Airlines to promote Sentosa and Singapore among Vietnamese tourists,” said Mr. Chin Sak Hin, Deputy General Director and Finance Director of the Sentosa Development Corporation. “We always welcome friends from Vietnam to Sentosa.”
Under the MoU, passengers with Vietnam Airlines will enjoy many benefits, including free admission to one of Sentosa’s famous attractions, such as the Wings of Time water show, with captivating sound and lighting effects, or the Singapore Cable Car, to enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of Sentosa. The corporation’s latest attraction, Sentosa Sensoryscape, is expected to open in March and promises to bring many new adventures and experiences for tourists.
