Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his Cambodian counterpart Hun Manet agreed to improve the efficiency of economics, trade, and investment cooperation during a meeting in Melbourne on the morning of March 6 (local time) on the sidelines of the ASEAN - Australia Special Summit.
They agreed to boost connectivity between the two economies, particularly in transport.
The two Prime Ministers promised to foster coordination between Vietnam and Cambodia, as well as with Laos and Thailand, to bolster regional connectivity in transport and tourism and to tap the tourism potential of all four countries.
Prime Minister Manet committed to creating favorable for Vietnamese enterprises to do business in Cambodia, and proposed an increase in flight frequency to boost tourism and trade links.
