Vietnam SuperPort™ and Vietnam Post Corporation (Vietnam Post) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to co-develop customized platforms aimed at supporting small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in exporting goods to Asia. This strategic partnership is poised to enhance regional trade by providing SMEs with streamlined access to international markets.
The signing ceremony was attended by Mr. Nguyen Khac Hieu, Deputy Chairman of the Vinh Phuc Provincial People’s Committee; His Excellency Jaya Ratnam, Ambassador of Singapore to Vietnam; Dr. Yap Kwong Weng, CEO of Vietnam SuperPort™; and Mr. Nguyen Truong Giang, Chairman of the Members' Council of Vietnam Post Corporation. The MOU signifies the beginning of an innovative collaboration, combining the expertise of both organizations to deliver efficient trade and logistics solutions.
Under this partnership, Vietnam SuperPort™ and Vietnam Post will empower SMEs to connect with Asian markets through YSG, an end-to-end e-commerce solutions provider under YCH Group. Vietnam SuperPort™ will serve as a multimodal logistics hub integrated with YSG’s platform, while Vietnam Post will deliver EMS express services and exclusively handle first-mile and last-mile delivery. This collaboration aims to optimize transportation and inventory costs while ensuring stable warehousing solutions for SMEs entering international markets.
Additionally, the two entities will co-develop an integrated logistics marketplace, connecting bonded warehouses, customers, shipping agents, and banks while fully digitizing operational and payment processes. The platform will incorporate blockchain technology for embedded financing and disbursement, offering SMEs improved access to financing options.
The project’s initial phase will pilot support for businesses in Vinh Phuc Province to export goods to Singapore, with plans for nationwide expansion and entry into other Asian markets.
“Collaborating with Vietnam Post marks a significant milestone in our strategy to enhance international trade capabilities and contribute to economic growth,” Dr. Yap Kwong Weng, CEO of Vietnam SuperPort™, commented. “Leveraging proven solutions from YCH Group and partnerships with Singapore startups, we aim to provide SMEs with customized platforms that facilitate seamless and cost-effective access to international markets, particularly Singapore.”
