Vietnamese airlines operated 211,874 flights in the first ten months of the year with an on-time rate of 74.2%, according to the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV).
Bamboo Airways took the lead with the punctuality rate of 83.3%. It was followed by Vietnam Airlines with 82.6%.
In October alone, over 17,800 flights were conducted by Vietnamese airlines with 13,315 on-time flights, equal to 74.6%.
Regarding flight delays, the CAAV reported that primary cause of these delays was late aircraft arrivals, making up 15.2%.
Vietnamese airlines are operating 98 international air routes to 20 countries and territories.
Meanwhile, they are exploiting 45 domestic air routes connecting with 22 airports in the country.
