Customs departments in the three northern provinces of Lang Son, Cao Bang, and Quang Ninh and their counterparts in Nanning, China, have agreed to continue their cooperation and facilitate trade exchanges between businesses from the two countries.

They reached the agreement at their ninth dialogue held recently in Quang Ninh.

Both sides noted that after the eighth dialogue held last November, thanks to their joint efforts, the customs clearance of goods through border gates has improved with a higher level of efficiency.

Figures from the customs departments show that total import and export revenue via border gates in Quang Ninh province reached over $852 million, $22.6 billion in Lang Son province, and $268 million in Cao Bang province since the eighth dialogue was held.
