The Vietnam Premier International Feed, Livestock, and Meat Industry Show (Vietstock 2025 Expo and Forum) opened in Ho Chi Minh City on October 8, highlighting science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation as key drivers of fast and sustainable growth in the livestock sector.
The three-day event features more than 300 booths from international and domestic exhibitors representing 40 countries and territories, showcasing a wide range of advanced products, services, and technologies in the livestock industry.
About 80 workshops are being held on the sidelines of Vietstock 2025, including the ASEAN Livestock and Veterinary Associations Roundtable, providing a platform for regional dialogue and knowledge exchange.
In 2024, Vietnam’s livestock sector generated a production value of around $33 billion, contributing nearly 5% to the country’s gross domestic product (GDP).
