The Vietnam Dairy Products Joint Stock Company (Vinamilk) held a signing ceremony on April 20 for strategic partnerships with six leading global nutrition groups: DSM Nutritional Products AG (Switzerland), Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (Denmark), BENEO GmbH (Germany), Gnosis (Italy), AAK Foodservice (Sweden), and the KANEMATSU Corporation (Japan).
The six committed to sharing breakthrough technologies with Vinamilk and applying new research on nutrition for its infant formula products. Through this cooperation, Vinamilk is expected to provide breakthrough solutions in nutritional care for children, with high-quality product lines necessary for their development.
“Since laying the foundation for the production of infant formula in Vietnam, through decades of development, Vinamilk has adopted a motto of constantly investing in modern production processes, applying advanced scientific research, and promoting international cooperation to bring suitable international-standard products for Vietnamese children,” said Ms. Mai Kieu Lien, CEO of Vinamilk.
“The companionship of major partners worldwide is an important factor helping Vinamilk move faster on the journey to realizing its goals. Bringing more value to consumers, quality products, and safety to children has been and always will be Vinamilk’s highest commitment.”
At the ceremony, Vinamilk also officially announced it owns the first infant formula brands in Asia to win the Purity Award in the US. This is a rigorous award that evaluates the purity, safety, and transparency of food, especially for children. The Purity Award was announced by the US non-profit organization Clean Label Project (CLP) for all Vinamilk’s baby formula products, including Optimum Gold, YokoGold, ColosGold, Pedia Kenji, Dielac Grow Plus, Dielac Alpha, and Dielac Alpha Gold.
