The State Treasury plans to raise VND400 trillion ($16.9 billion) worth of government bonds this year via auctions on the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX).
It will offer VND108 trillion ($4.57 billion) worth of G-bonds with different maturities in the first quarter, including five-year and seven-year bonds valued at VND8 trillion ($338 million), ten-year and 15-year bonds valued at VND45 trillion ($1.9 billion) each, and 20-year and 30-year bonds valued at VND5 trillion ($211 million) each.
The volume of bond tenors may be adjusted according to the market situation and the capital use needs of the State budget.
Government bond issuances in 2022 totaled VND203.2 trillion ($8.6 billion).
