The Minister of Transport has given the green light to the project building the Dau Giay - Tan Phu (first phase) expressway section in the south of Vietnam in the public-private partnership (PPP) form.

The expressway section runs through southern Dong Nai province with a total length of 60.24 km.

It has total investment of an estimated VND9 trillion ($355 million), with over VND7.7 trillion ($304 million) to come from the investor and the remainder from the State budget.

The section will have four lanes and a speed limit of 80-100 kph.

This is the first part of the 200-km Dau Giay - Lien Khuong Expressway that links Ho Chi Minh City and other southern provinces to the central highlands’ Lam Dong province.
