Authorities of central Quang Tri province have approved a project to build a road connecting Quang Tri airport with the National Highway No.1.

The road is 2.9-km long and has a roadbed width of 48.5m.

It demands an estimated investment capital of over VND89.6 billion ($3.51 million) which will be sourced from the State budget and the provincial budget.

Upon completion, the road will help to enhance the transport system of the province and boost socio-economic development in the locality, according to the provincial People’s Committee.
