Accor, a global hotel leader and the region’s largest international hotel operator, is set to launch a new flagship destination for its newest luxury brand, Emblems Collection, on Phu Quoc, the largest island in Vietnam.
Set to open in 2025, the Emblems Collection hotel on Phu Quoc will be perfectly positioned on the soft sands of Sao Beach, overlooking the ocean close to the southern tip of the exquisite “Pearl Island”.
“We are delighted to introduce the Emblems Collection brand to Vietnam,” said Mr. Maud Bailly, CEO of Sofitel, Sofitel Legend, MGallery and Emblems for Accor. “Each property in this original hotel collection is completely unique and inspired by the essence of its destination. The Emblems Collection hotel on Phu Quoc will not be just another new resort on the popular island; it will become a flagship for Accor in Vietnam and a new destination in Phu Quoc’s tourism crown.”
Debuting in Vietnam, the Emblems Collection is a carefully curated collection of independent hotels that are emblematic of their destination, designer or heritage. In recognition of their unique and charismatic personality, each property maintains its original elements and creates bespoke and intimate guest experiences for seasoned modern luxury travelers who want to bring deeper meaning and emotion to their lives.
The beautiful, locally-inspired low-rise retreat, being developed by the Dai Minh Phu Quoc Company Limited, will feature 122 bright, naturally-lit guestrooms and 24 breathtaking villas, all just steps away from the crescent-shaped beach and turquoise sea.
“We look forward to working with our esteemed partners at Dai Minh Phu Quoc as we bring this iconic new property to life,” said Mr. Bailly.
Throughout their stay, guests will be able to dine at a choice of two exceptional restaurants, grab light refreshments at the coffee corner, or unwind at the live music bar.
The Emblems Collection hotel on Phu Quoc will also be a haven of wellness, with a soothing spa and bath house, a yoga studio, and a fully-equipped fitness center, as well as an inviting outdoor swimming pool and children’s pool. Its event facilities and beach also promise to be outstanding locations for events on the island.
The Emblems Collection hotel on Phu Quoc will be located a short 25-minute drive from Phu Quoc International Airport, which offers direct connections to key cities all across Asia, including Bangkok, Hong Kong (China), Kuala Lumpur, Mumbai, and Seoul, as well as multiple domestic routes within Vietnam.
Accor is broadening its footprint in the collection brands space following its work with the MGallery Hotel Collection, which now has more than 100 boutique hotels worldwide.
Emblems Collection is Accor’s newest luxury brand, with a captivating portfolio set to expand to 60 hotels and resorts all around the world by 2032, with several global signings to be announced throughout 2023.
