The Vietnam Environment Joint Stock Company is preparing for the groundbreaking of the Solid Waste Incineration and Power Generation Plant project at the Khanh Son Solid Waste Treatment Complex, in Lien Chieu diítric, Da Nang city.

The waste incineration technology for power generation of the plant will use a mechanical grate furnace manufactured by Martin Group (Germany).

The plant, covering over 93.8 ha, will have a total investment capital estimated at over VND2 trillion ($78.9 million).

It will have a designed capacity of burning 650 tons of solid waste per day.

The plant will also produce 900 kg of finished recycled oil (RO) per day.

Its electricity generation capacity is estimated at 18 MW.
