Affiliate marketing is booming in Vietnam, becoming an important marketing channel for businesses and contributing to boosting revenue and developing the e-commerce field.
The Vietnam Affiliate Report, released recently by ACESSTRADE, shows that the market size of affiliate marketing in the country recorded year-on-year growth of 45 per cent in 2022, hitting VND800 billion ($33.8 million).
It is expected to reach over VND1.2 trillion ($50.8 million) this year.
The channel contributed 10-50 per cent of total revenue and gross merchandise value (GMV) of enterprises, with around 30 million orders each month.
Total sales from affiliate marketing accounted for about 4 per cent of total e-commerce retail sales in 2022.
Industry 4.0 and Covid-19 have both changed customer shopping behavior. Many people have turned to shopping online, helping promote the development of e-commerce.
