According to Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment Phung Duc Tien, agricultural, forestry and fishery export turnover in October 2025 was estimated at $5.96 billion, marking a 6.3 per cent increase compared to October 2024.
Cumulatively, the first ten months of 2025 saw the sector's total export turnover of $58.13 billion, a 12.9 per cent rise from the same period in 2024.
Asia remains the largest export market, accounting for 44.7 per cent of Vietnam's total agricultural, forestry, and fishery exports over the past ten months.
Deputy Minister Phung Duc Tien noted that China has surpassed the US to become the leading market, accounting for 21.4 per cent of Vietnam's total agricultural, forestry, and fishery exports in the ten-month period.
Deputy Minister Tien predicts that with the results of the first ten months, the export of agricultural, forestry, and fishery products for the entire year 2025 will exceed the target of $65-67 billion. If the export level of $5.96 billion per month is maintained in the last two months of the year, the industry is expected to reach a record $70 billion.
