The Agritechnica Asia Vietnam 2025 exhibition is scheduled to open in in Ho Chi Minh City on March 12.
This is the first time that Vietnam hosts this exhibition, which will be organised by the German Agricultural Society (DLG), the National Agricultural Extension Centre and Vietnam Agriculture Newspaper under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
The three-day event will showcase cutting-edge agricultural technologies focused on sustainability and productivity amid climate change challenges in Southeast Asia, according to a report from the Vietnam News Agency.
The exhibition aims to introduce the world’s most advanced technologies to Vietnamese farmers, businesses, and cooperatives, helping them improve quality and move toward a smarter and lower-emission agricultural sector, the State-run news agency quoted the organizers as reporting.
Agritechnica Asia, first held in Bangkok, will now rotate between Thailand and Vietnam, positioning the two countries and Southeast Asia at large as knowledge hubs in agricultural mechanisation.
