The Bac Giang Provincial People’s Committee has approved a list of six urban and residential areas and is calling for investors.

They include a 36.34-ha urban area in the northern province’s Hiep Hoa district, an 8.97-ha residential area and a 6.5-ha urban area in Bac Giang city, a 36.7-ha urban, services, and commercial area in Viet Yen district, and a 10.85-ha urban area and a 6.37-ha residential area in Yen Dung district.

Investors will be selected via a bidding process organized by the Departments of Construction and the People’s Committees of Hiep Hoa and Yen Dung districts and Bac Giang city.

Bac Giang plans to implement 806 housing projects in the 2021-2025 period. The total floor area is estimated to reach 17.6 million sq m, including 7.3 million sq m of commercial housing, 7.6 million sq m of social housing, and 2.7 million sq m of houses built by local residents.
