Authorities in northern Bac Ninh Province have approved an investment policy for Kim Chan Bridge and its connecting road, a major infrastructure project aimed at improving regional connectivity and supporting industrial development.

The project will be developed in Nenh and Vu Ninh wards, connecting the planned road network of Quang Chau 2 Industrial Park with the planned southeastern urban area of Bac Ninh's Administrative Center.

The investment includes a 928-meter transport corridor, comprising a new bridge and approach roads. The access road will feature a 60-meter-wide cross-section. The centerpiece of the project is Kim Chan Bridge, a 721-meter structure spanning the Cau River.

The project carries a total investment of more than VND1.47 trillion ($56 million), funded by the provincial budget. Preparatory work is scheduled for 2026, with construction expected to run through 2029.

Once completed, Kim Chan Bridge will improve mobility for residents and businesses, enhance freight transportation efficiency and strengthen economic linkages across the region.
