The People’s Committee of Bac Ninh Province in northern Vietnam has officially approved the investment policy and selected the investor for a major Dry Port and Logistics Service Area project.

The facility, located in Vo Cuong ward  and Tam Da commune, spans over 87ha, with a total investment exceeding VND4.64 trillion (approximately $177 million).

The project is designed as an integrated logistics distribution center and inland container depot (ICD).

It aims to meet the growing market demand for comprehensive logistics services, including warehousing, cargo storage, direct support services for air transport, and cargo handling. Additionally, the complex will feature auxiliary facilities such as short-term accommodation, restaurants, and mobile catering services.

The project has been granted an operational term of 50 years, effective from the date of the investment policy and investor approval.

The provincial decision also outlines a clear construction timeline. Investment procedures and land handover are expected to be completed by December 2026. The construction phase is scheduled to begin in December 2026, with full completion targeted for March 2031.
