BEST Express helping customers manage their parcels with logistics digitalization

As one of the major express delivery service providers in Vietnam, BEST Express has decided to take technology application as its operating foundation.

BEST Express has invested tens of millions of dollars in strengthening its technology infrastructure and building 42 automated sortation centers in Vietnam’s 63 cities and provinces. Total investment exceeds $20 million, on an area exceeding 100,000 sq m. In particular, the centers in Cu Chi district, Ho Chi Minh City, and Tu Son district in northern Bac Ninh province are the two largest hubs of BEST Inc. in all of Southeast Asia.

The sortation centers are fully equipped with automated conveyors able to sort a small parcel of under 3 kilos in just 0.5 seconds and 2 seconds for larger parcels of over 3 kilos. BEST Express’s network of centers can handle up to 2.2 million parcels a day.

Its sortation center network helps BEST optimize sorting times and shorten delivery times, for a better user experience.

In terms of customer service, the company has added new features to the BEST Express app, improving the customer care process and promising better services to customers.

With its comprehensive upgrades, the BEST Express app is appreciated for its user-friendly, easy-to-use, and efficient functions, which help users track their parcel status over the last 15 days and effectively manage COD. Customers can also readily track and manage their income.

The parallel interaction feature with the customer care team helps users make quick contact to receive timely support. Recently, BEST Express implemented an online customer care service (livechat), allowing users to interact directly with customer service staff and receive feedback within 20 seconds.

At the same time, it is deploying a service to notify information on the order journey via Zalo, helping consignees receive specific information on the delivery plan and shipper contact details so they can arrange a suitable time to receive the goods.

BEST also implements additional layers of security on the app to avoid any tampering with customer information. Thanks to changes based on user feedback, the BEST Express app has received positive reviews on both Android and iOS platforms.

BEST will increase its investment in technological development this year to enhance smart customer care and continue to upgrade the user support app to provide a more complete service offering.

For its continual efforts, BEST Express was honored in the Top 50 digitized enterprises at the Golden Dragon Awards 2022-2023 for its contribution to digitalization in the logistics industry.

“We expect to develop faster in 2023, with stronger investment in technological application and offering comprehensive support to partners and customers,” said a representative from BEST Express. “With a desire to maximize market share and become an express delivery service trusted by all users, BEST Express commits to bringing more valuable services to the Vietnamese market.”
