Southern Binh Duong province plans to auction 59 land plots with a total area of 18,171 ha, according to the Provincial People’s Committee.

The auctions are expected to collect some VND560.359 trillion ($23.3 million), which will be used for provincial socio-economic development.

This is part of Binh Duong’s master plan on exploiting its land fund to serve socio-economic development in the 2024-2025 period with a vision towards 2030.

It is aimed at promoting the development of urban spaces, including urban areas, industrial parks, trade, services, and logistics.

Twenty-nine of the land plots, covering 17,652 ha, will be used for building new urban areas, mostly along the My Phuoc - Tan Van route that links with Ho Chi Minh City’s Ring Road No. 3 and No. 4 and the Ho Chi Minh City - Chon Thanh expressway section.
