The Vietnam Software and IT Services Association (Vinasa) has established a blockchain development club that will serve as a venue for sharing knowledge on blockchain, building a community of sustainable blockchain development, promoting human resources training, and boosting the application of technology in different fields, contributing to developing Vietnam’s digital economy and digital society.

A representative from Vinasa said blockchain technology has developed strongly over recent years and is among technologies drawing the greatest attention from users.

With the establishment of the club, Vinasa will focus on developing blockchain applications.

Many countries around the world, including Vietnam, have recognized the huge potential blockchain technology holds, which has been widely applied in sectors such as banking and finance, transport, logistics, healthcare, education, and agriculture.

Blockchain is a shared, immutable ledger that facilitates the process of recording transactions and tracking assets within a business network.
