The Consulate General of Vietnam in Khon Kaen, in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Young Business Association and the Thai–Vietnamese Entrepreneurs Association of Thailand, hosted the Vietnam–Thailand Business Forum 2025, according to Radio the Voice of Vietnam.

Held under the theme “Strengthening Vietnam–Thailand Economic Cooperation in the New Era,” the forum served as a dynamic platform for businesses from both countries to connect, exchange insights, discuss policy frameworks, and chart future development strategies.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Dinh Hoang Linh, Consul General of Vietnam in Khon Kaen, said “This event vividly demonstrates the vision and determination of the private sector—especially young Vietnamese entrepreneurs—to enhance regional integration, expand globally, build value chains, and spread Vietnam’s entrepreneurial spirit.”

Presentations from Vietnamese and Thai enterprises focused on key topics including green economic cooperation, brand development, market opportunities in Northeast Thailand, and the role of young entrepreneurs. A dialogue session further explored supply chains, logistics, legal frameworks, the digital economy, innovation, and collaboration with overseas Vietnamese communities.

Participants noted that Vietnam and Thailand are two economic powerhouses in the region, playing a pivotal role in advancing sub-Mekong integration through strategic economic corridors.

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tan, President of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Tourism Club, said “Entrepreneurs hope that the governments of both countries—and across ASEAN—will work together to establish a single-window mechanism for cross-border business collaboration. This would streamline data sharing, reduce regulatory barriers, and accelerate the growth of a sustainable and efficient global supply chain.”

Prior to the forum, delegates attended the opening of the Vietnam–Northeast Thailand Trade Fair, featuring nearly 50 booths, and witnessed a cooperation signing ceremony between the Vietnam–Thailand Entrepreneurs Association and Vietnamese enterprises.
