Central Ha Tinh province is choosing contractors for a project extending the Xo Viet Nghe Tinh road with an estimated investment capital of VND1.489 trillion ($58.3 million).

Five contractors joined the bidding which was held from October 18 to November 6 this year.  

The road will be extended for 6.6 km to the East, starting from the intersection with Nguyen Cong Tru Road in the province’s Ha Tinh city and ending at the intersection with the National Highway 15B in Thanh Hoa district.

The road will have a roadbed width of 21m.

Construction is scheduled to start this year and complete by 2026.

The project is aimed at meeting increasing transport demand, contributing to boost socio-economic development of the province and attracting more investors.
