The People’s Committee of central Da Nang city has approved the adjustment of the investment policy to build a cargo terminal at Da Nang International Airport.

The terminal will be developed on a land area of over 24,600 sq.m, including 14,206.4 sq.m for the cargo terminal and 10,411.8 m2 for the cargo staging area and parking lot.

Developed by the Airports Corporation of Viet Nam (ACV), the project has a total investment of over VND 631 billion ($24 million).

The projected terminal is planned to reach the approved design capacity of approximately 100,000 tons of cargo per year by 2030.

Construction is scheduled to start in the second quarter of 2025 and complete in the fourth quarter of 2026.
