Construction of sub-projects within the Chau Doc - Can Tho - Soc Trang Expressway, the longest in the Mekong Delta at 188 km, is scheduled to begin next month.

The link will pass through Can Tho city and the three provinces of An Giang, Hau Giang, and Soc Trang.

Total investment is estimated at VND44.3 trillion ($1.9 billion).

Sub-project 1, crossing through An Giang province and Can Tho city, is over 57 km in length. Total investment is estimated at VND13.8 trillion ($582 million).

Sub-project 2, crossing through Can Tho city, has a total length of over 37 km and estimated investment of VND9.8 trillion ($413 million).

Sub-project 3 will cross through Hau Giang province. It is some 37 km in length and is estimated to cost more than VND9.9 trillion ($417 million).

Sub-project 4, crossing through Hau Giang and Soc Trang provinces, is 57 km long. Investment is estimated at over VND11.1 trillion ($468 million).
