The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam and the  Vietnam Air Catering Services JSC (VINACS) kicked off construction of the second in-flight catering service project at Long Thanh International Airport on April 17.

It is part of sub-project No.4 of the Long Thanh airport project in the southern province of Dong Nai.

Long Thanh International Airport is the largest airport project in Vietnam to date. It has a total investment capital estimated at VND336.63 trillion ($13.74 billion), with construction divided into three phases.

The first phase consists of a passenger terminal and a runway. The terminal will be able to cater to 25 million passengers and handle 1.2 million tons of cargo a year.
