The General Department of Vietnam Customs plans to build an information technology system to implement digital customs to meet requirements in customs clearance.

This is part of the goals set by the Digital Transformation Plan from the department this year.

The department will formulate and submit to authorized authorities for approval of legal documents and projects and will implement technical solutions to create a foundation for digital transformation in the implementation of the National Single Window and the ASEAN Single Window mechanism.

Initial platforms will be built to meet digital transformation requirements in administration tasks.

The department will support and promote digital transformation of businesses and related agencies to ensure synchronization with the digital transformation process of the customs sector.
