Da Nang hits $1bn in State budget revenue in 2022

Central Da Nang city posted State budget revenue of over VND24.1 trillion ($1.01 billion) in 2022, 22.9 per cent higher than the estimate and up 4.5 per cent against 2021.

Domestic revenue totaled more than VND18.8 trillion ($789 million) and import-export turnover nearly VND5.3 trillion ($222 million).

The city’s total State budget expenditure was over VND25.2 trillion ($1.05 billion), of which central budget spending was VND9.3 trillion ($390 million) and local budget spending over VND15.8 trillion ($663 million).

Da Nang Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Van Quang told a recent meeting reviewing the city’s socioeconomic situation in 2022 and identifying tasks for 2023 that there will be many difficulties and challenges for Vietnam in general and Da Nang in particular in 2023, and called for greater efforts to continue the central city’s development.
