The Da Nang City People’s Committee put into operation an intelligent operations center (IOC) on August 14 as part of its efforts to boost digital transformation and build a smart city.

The center will collect information and data from all fields for supervision and analysis on operations in the city, to serve the management and administration tasks of local authorities.

It will also provide early detection and warning of problems and unusual events, helping authorized agencies respond in a timely manner.

It will be used as a command center for local authorities in emergency situations, natural disasters, and pandemics.
