Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung has signed Prime Ministerial Decision No. 890/QD-TTg on the establishment of the Binh Duong Concentrated Information Technology Park in the southern province of Binh Duong, marking a significant milestone in Vietnam’s IT sector development.

Spanning 15.47 ha, the IT park will be located within the Binh Duong Industry - Service - Urban Complex in Hoa Phu Ward, Thu Dau Mot city.

It is envisioned as a strategic hub for the growth of the information technology industry, supporting research, development, training, software production, digital content creation, and IT services.

Enterprises investing in the Binh Duong Concentrated IT Park will receive comprehensive preferential policies under Decree No. 154/2013/ND-CP, alongside additional incentives designated for concentrated IT parks, including tax benefits, land lease support, technical infrastructure assistance, and research and development incentives.

As of March 2025, Binh Duong ranks second nationwide in foreign direct investment (FDI) attraction, following Ho Chi Minh City. The province has 4,399 active investment projects, with a total registered capital exceeding $42.4 billion, accounting for 8.5% of Vietnam’s total foreign investment.
