The "Da Nang Free Trade Zone - New Driving Force for the Development of Da Nang's Logistics Industry" forum, to be hosted by Da Nang city's People's Committee, will open on November 14, according to a recent announcement from the Committee,
The forum aims to attract 350-400 delegates, including domestic and international corporations, businesses, and industry experts involved in port infrastructure, warehousing, transportation, and shipping.
The event will focus on positioning Da Nang as a regional logistics hub and international manufacturing, trading, and logistics center, leveraging the potential of the Da Nang Free Trade Zone. Discussions will explore global models and their applicability to Da Nang's specific context.
The forum will also serve as a platform for the city leaders and businesses to exchange ideas and develop strategies for promoting the logistics industry. The event will coincide with the launch of the Da Nang City Logistics Development Steering Committee and the signing of investment cooperation agreements.
The central city has identified 10 potential locations for the Free Trade Zone, spanning nearly 1,500 ha.
