Rapid urbanization has caused central Da Nang city’s land fund to gradually shrink, which has resulted in its satellite urban real estate taking off and catching the eye of investors.
According to the Adjusted General Planning for Da Nang City to 2030 and vision to 2045, the city will form two economic belts: the northern belt, focusing on high-tech industries and seaports - logistics, and the southern belt, with innovation and high-tech agriculture.
Under planning, Da Nang targets attracting $7 billion in investment by 2030 to major projects such as the Hoa Xuan creative space and Lien Chieu Port.
Construction of Lien Chieu Port is expected to begin in September, giving the northern reaches of the city the potential to become its new industrial and service center and becoming a key intersection point between the city, the high-tech park, and real estate projects that meet the needs of the city and the housing needs of foreign workers and experts.
The railway station is also to be relocated to Lien Chieu district, while there are also projects to upgrade and expand the Hai Van Tunnel and build a high-tech park in Hoa Lien, Hoa Ninh.
