The Deo Ca Group and its partners have proposed building a tourism route connecting Dong Hoi city in central Quang Binh province with Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park in the public-private partnership (PPP) form.
The project will have investment of an estimated VND2.38 trillion ($100 million).
Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors at the Deo Ca Group, Le Quynh Mai, said that upon completion the road would create a breakthrough in transport infrastructure, connecting Dong Hoi Airport with coastal roads, provincial roads, national roads, the Eastern North-South Expressway, and Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park, contributing to boosting socio-economic, tourism, logistics, and industrial park development in the province.
The Deo Ca Group has invested in many road and tunnel projects around Vietnam, including the VND4.7 trillion ($198 million) Truong Vinh Tunnel in the Eastern North-South Expressway section in north-central Thanh Hoa and Nghe An provinces, and the Cam Lam - Vinh Hao Expressway passing through south-central Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan, and Binh Thuan provinces, with total investment of VND8.92 trillion ($376 million).
