Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha has asked the Ministry of Transport and relevant localities to urgently complete the feasibility study of the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road No.4.
The feasibility study is expected to submit to the State Apraisal Council in November this year, according to Mr. Ha.
The Deputy Prime Minister made the request at a meeting held on October 1 to discuss the implementation of the project.
The road is designed to have a total length of around 207 km, passing through Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Dong Nai, Binh Duong, and Long An provinces.
It will have 6-8 lanes and allow a maximum speed of 100 kph.
Total investment is estimated at over VND128 trillion ($5.163 billion), to be sourced from both central and provincial budgets.
