Deputy PM Le Minh Khai becomes head of Steering Committee for collective economy

Under Prime Ministerial Decision No. 463/QD-TTg, dated May 29, 2024, Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai has become head of the Steering Committee for collective economy.

Mr. Khai will be assisted by three deputy heads, including Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung (permanent deputy head), Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Le Minh Hoan and Chairman of the Viet Nam Cooperative Alliance Cao Xuan Thu Van.

The Steering Committee, which also comprises members who are leaders from relevant ministries and agencies, is tasked to put forward policies and solutions for the Government to develop the collective economy and cooperatives.

Additionally, it will coordinate ministries, sectors, central agencies and localities in the implementation of projects and plans on development of the country’s collective economy.
