Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Manh Hung has instructed cities and provinces around Vietnam to establish a digital transformation center.

The centers will introduce digital transformation solutions and applications of businesses and provide digital transformation guidelines.

One locality will be chosen in October to establish a digital transformation on a trial basis, according to Minister Hung.

This is part of measures to help localities and businesses tackle difficulties and obstacles in digital transformation, he said.

The ministry will also issue handbooks on guiding digital transformation for localities.

All ministries, sectors and localities have set up steering committees on digital transformation and issued digital transformation plans, according to the ministry.
