Dong Nai to build four logistics centers

Ban Mai -

Centers located near transport hubs such as airports, seaports, and railway stations.

Southern Dong Nai province plans to develop four logistics centers under its master planning in the 2021-2030 period with a vision towards 2050, according to local authorities.

The centers will be located near transport hubs such as Long Thanh International Airport, Phuoc An Seaport, and Trang Bom railway station, to facilitate cargo transportation and reduce logistics costs.

They are projected to handle 60-70 per cent of all cargo in Dong Nai.

The province targets posted annual growth in logistics development of 30-35 per cent, contributing 20-25 per cent of the province’s GDP.

Industrial parks in Dong Nai have helped promote import and export activities by local businesses, leading to high demand for logistics services. The province also has huge potential in logistics development due to the implementation of key transport projects and industrial growth in Dong Nai and neighboring cities and provinces such as Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Duong.
