On June 12, 2026, Duy Tan Plastics Manufacturing Corporation, in collaboration with DUYTAN Recycling and Y&B Corporation (owner of the vegan cosmetics brand Cocoon), has officially signed a strategic partnership agreement to develop and utilize cosmetic packaging made from 100% recycled plastic. The collaboration reflects the parties’ shared commitment to advancing sustainable development and expanding the use of recycled materials in Vietnam.
The signing ceremony was held at Duy Tan’s manufacturing facility in Tan Do Industrial Park, Duc Hoa Commune, Tay Ninh Province, with the participation of representatives from all parties. The partnership aims to reduce environmental impact through the production, supply, and use of recycled plastic packaging, while promoting green consumption practices within Vietnam’s cosmetics industry.
Under the partnership framework, Duy Tan Plastics Manufacturing Corporation is responsible for developing and producing the packaging using recycled plastic materials supplied by DUYTAN Recycling, while Cocoon will implement the packaging across its product portfolio. The collaboration among the three companies is expected to expand the adoption of sustainable packaging solutions, promote circular production models, and enhance the value of recycled resources within the consumer goods industry.
Through this project, Duy Tan continues to demonstrate its capability in developing recycled packaging solutions that meet the stringent quality requirements of the cosmetics industry, while supporting Vietnamese brands in their sustainability journey and promoting greater awareness of green consumption within the community.
Cocoon is a Vietnamese vegan cosmetics brand with a presence in more than 5,000 retail outlets nationwide and an expanding international footprint, including Japan and France. Currently, Cocoon utilizes packaging made from 100% recycled plastic produced by Duy Tan for selected products, including Winter Melon Micellar Water, Hau Giang Lotus Micellar Water (1L), and Hau Giang Lotus Facial Cleanser (500ml). The brand plans to further expand the use of this packaging solution across additional product lines as part of its long-term sustainability strategy.
