The Da Nang City People's Committee and Vingroup Corporation on February 25 signed a Memorandum of Understanding to promote green transformation and sustainable development.

The collaboration aims to develop a sustainable program for the 2025-2030 period, focusing on green tourism, green transportation, and a green lifestyle in the central city.

In the field of transportation, the two parties will not only encourage the increased use of electric vehicles but also research an electric bus route connecting Da Nang and its neighboring city of Hue. This route will serve both local residents and tourists visiting the two cities, which are renowned as world cultural heritage centers and prominent destinations in Asia.

Additionally, the partnership will explore and implement a plan to use electric buses within Da Nang city, following a green energy transition roadmap.

During the signing ceremony, Mr. Le Trung Chinh, Chairman of the Da Nang City People's Committee, emphasized the significance of this cooperation in advancing the city's green transformation efforts. He highlighted that Da Nang is striving to establish itself as an environmentally friendly city.
