Normal entry-exit activities via the Mong Cai (Vietnam) - Dongxing (China) International Border Gate resumed on February 21 after being suspended for almost three years due to Covid-19.

As of 9am on February 21, 21 people had applied for exit procedures to enter China and nearly 30 Chinese had entered Vietnam.

Entry and exit activities at the Mong Cai International Border Gate are conducted from 7am to 8pm (Hanoi time).

In line with Covid-19 prevention and control measures, people going through the border gate must have valid passports and fill in health confirmation cards. Those who enter China must present proof of a negative PCR-RT Covid-19 test result within the last 48 hours.

Authorities in Mong Cai city have assigned relevant agencies at border gates to arrange staff, vehicles, and equipment to ensure security and order while creating the most favorable conditions for citizens from the two countries when completing entry-exit procedures.
