Total investment in 200-km expressway in Vietnam’s south estimated at $1.87 billion.

The Ministry of Transport (MoT) and the Lam Dong Provincial People’s Committee in the central highlands are completing procedures to soon approve the feasibility study for the Dau Giay - Lien Khuong Expressway project.

The expressway will pass through Lam Dong and southern Dong Nai province and is expected to help ease congestion on National Highway No. 20.

The expressway has a total length of 201 km and will be conducted in the public-private partnership (PPP) form.

It consists of three component projects, including the Dau Giay - Tan Phu section, at 60 km long, the Tan Phu - Bao Loc section, at 67 km, and the Bao Loc - Lien Khuong section, at 74 km.

Construction of the Dau Giay - Tan Phu section is estimated to cost over VND8.3 trillion ($345 million), the Tan Phu - Bao Loc section VND17.2 trillion ($716 million), and the Bao Loc - Lien Khuong section over VND19.5 trillion ($813 million).
