Headquartered in Vietnam, global IT solutions provider FPT Software has announced the official opening of its 72nd office globally, in Guadalajara, Mexico.
The strategic move is in response to increasing demand for agile software engineering solutions in the Americas and enhances the company’s services with better responsiveness and more local talent.
Its opening marks a significant milestone for FPT Software in reinforcing its commitment to global expansion and client-centricity. The expansion also heralds the innovative “Best-Shore” Model, a blend of onshore, near-shore, and offshore service delivery. This approach places customers at the forefront, ensuring an optimal mix of proximity and cost-effectiveness.
Known as the “Silicon Valley of Latin America”, Guadalajara has emerged as a prominent technology hub, attracting global companies seeking to capitalize on its skilled workforce and conducive business environment. Its similar time zone to many American cities makes it an ideal location for establishing software development centers for the US market, providing seamless communications and support for clients across regions.
Mr. Nguyen Khai Hoan, Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of FPT Software, expressed his enthusiasm at the opportunities the expansion brings. “We have always envisioned ourselves as a global IT services company that stays close to customers,” he said. “The Guadalajara office strengthens this vision and enables us to continue providing agile and responsive support to our ever-expanding customer base as we solidify our Americas market foothold.”
“Guadalajara is a vibrant and innovative city, and its strategic location allows us to efficiently serve our clients in the Americas while tapping into the rich pool of local tech talent,” said Mr. Dang Tran Phuong, FPT Americas’ Chief Executive Officer. “We are excited to be a part of the dynamic tech ecosystem in Guadalajara and look forward to contributing to the region’s digital transformation.”
By 2025, FPT Software plans to grow its team in Guadalajara to 500 people, cooperating closely with other offices in India, the Philippines, Costa Rica, Colombia, and elsewhere to develop and deliver complete IT services and solutions to a growing number of clients.
